AKC Note: An interesting coming together of 2 companies with a wonderful U.S. textile industry heritage, Westex was purchased by Milliken in May 2014 and Cone has a 124 year U.S. textile history and is now part of ITG (International Textile Group) which was formed in 2004 combining the former Burlington Industries and Cone Mills. Bringing these companies together would yield some interesting conversations if the walls could talk!
