Synthetic Yarn and Fabric Association
The Synthetic Yarn and Fabric Association is a non-profit organization comprised of individuals affiliated with the synthetic yarn and fiber industry. Representation in the industry includes fiber producers, texturizers, staple yarn manufacturers, fabric producers for apparel, automotive, upholstery, and industrial markets. Additionally, raw material suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers related to the industry are valuable contributors to the organization.
2022 Fall Conference Speakers and Panelists
SYFA Fall Conference and 50th Anniversary Celebration, November 3rd-4th, 2022 at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel.
Come and listen as six of the industry’s top leaders sit together and share their thoughts on the Past, Present & Future. The panelist are: Leib Oehmig, CEO, Glen Raven, Inc., Cameron Hamrick, CEO, Hamrick Mills, Jeff Price, EVP of Strategic Initiatives, Milliken & Company, Charles Heilig, President & CEO, Parkdale Mills, Inc., Eddie Ingle, CEO & Director, Unifi, Inc., Amy Bircher, CEO & Founder, MMI Textiles, Jim Borneman, Publisher/Owner of Textile Industries Media Group, LLC, Moderator.
In addition, there will be presentations from: Laura Murphy-Wood Mackenzie, Alasdair Carmichael-NAPCOR, Dr. Andre West-NC State University, Wilson School of Textiles, Nello Masciarelli-Gildan, Jeff Dugan-Consultant and Julie Rader-Walmart.
A Cocktail Reception will be held at 5:30 pm at the end of Thursday’s session, followed by a sit-down Dinner at 6:30 pm for all conference attendees. Kim Glas, NCTO, President and CEO will give the keynote address
