Who We Are
The Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association is a non-profit organization comprised of individuals affiliated with the synthetic yarn and fiber industry. Representation in the industry includes fiber producers, texturizers, knitters, weavers, and dyeing & finishing personnel. Additionally, raw material suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and service providers related to the industry are valuable contributors to the organization.

SYFA Role in Textiles
The roll of the SYFA is to promote the production and improvement of synthetic yarns and fibers and to facilitate various end uses. The association also provides members a forum for discussion and presentations related to the improvement of the synthetic yarns and fibers and their downstream applications and review of current trade issues. SYFA membership assures you of current industry information and contacts that are essential for success.

Meetings & Conferences
The SYFA typically hosts two major conferences each year, a winter conference in late February and a summer conference in late July. These conferences are designed to include timely and important issues related to technology advancements, product advancements, and trade conditions for the industry. SYFA also conducts periodical education seminars on yarn and fiber formation and end use applications.

Membership in the Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association enables participation in numerous research committees and gives you access to all the SYFA information archives. Additionally, through the Members Only section of the website you will have access to all SYFA publications, past conferences presentation, and networking contacts within the core of the industry.

Membership
